  • The MezIO-C181 is a serial MezIO expansion module from Neousys Technology for compatible Nuvo and POC platforms, adding eight serial interfaces to the system. It provides four multi-mode RS-232/422/485 ports together with four additional RS-422/485 ports, making it especially suitable for industrial field devices that use differential signaling. The module supports baud rates up to 921.6 Kbps, includes 256-byte transmit and receive FIFOs, and offers 8 kV ESD protection. Connection is provided through a 68-pin SCSI-II connector, while mode and termination settings can be configured through the BIOS.
