• The PB-2500J-CSM5 is an intelligent supercapacitor-based power backup cassette module for Nuvo-5000 series systems. It stores 2500 watt-seconds of energy in eight 100F, 3.0V ultracapacitors and can keep a connected computer running for seconds to minutes during a power failure, depending on system load. Integrated CAP energy management monitors power consumption and calculates the proper timing for controlled shutdown. The module operates from -25 to 65°C, uses a 3-wire RS-232 communication interface, and is designed for up to 500,000 charge/discharge cycles in industrial environments.
