  • The PB-2500J-CSM7 is an intelligent supercapacitor-based power backup cassette module for Nuvo-7000 series systems. Using eight 100F, 3.0V ultracapacitors, it provides 2500 watt-seconds of stored energy and can keep the computer running for seconds to minutes during a power outage, depending on system consumption. Patented CAP energy management continuously tracks energy usage and selects the proper time for safe system shutdown. The module is specified for -25 to 65°C operation, communicates through a 3-wire RS-232 interface, and supports up to 500,000 charge and discharge cycles.
