Nuvo-11000 Series

The Nuvo-11000 series is Neousys’ flagship rugged embedded computer, powered by Intel® Core™ Ultra 200 processors with up to 24 cores/threads, DDR5-6400 memory, PCIe Gen5, and an integrated NPU delivering up to 36 TOPs for AI workloads. Offering a 1.2x CPU boost and improved energy efficiency, it supports demanding industrial applications. The system provides five 2.5GbE and one 1GbE port (with optional PoE+), an optional 10GbE port, eight USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, and an M.2 Gen5x4 slot enabling SSD speeds over 11,000 MB/s. With expansion via Cassette, MezIO®, and mini-PCIe, plus isolated DI/DO, it delivers versatile connectivity, scalability, and reliable performance in harsh environments.
The New IPC Class for Automation and AI
With the growing demand for connected production, real-time data processing, and decentralized intelligence in industrial environments, the requirements for embedded computers have changed significantly in recent years. Today, it is not only computing power that matters—energy efficiency, communication diversity, and the ability to integrate into AI-supported processes are also in focus. The new Nuvo-11000 IPC series addresses precisely these requirements, positioning itself as a robust and scalable platform for industrial edge computing applications. All variants of the new series are now available with individual configuration from the German distributor Acceed.
The new Nuvo-11000 IPC generation represents more than just a performance leap. These fanless high-performance computers target industrial applications in AI-assisted automation and data-centric real-time processing, requiring both high computing power and extensive I/O functionality with inference capability. Powered by Intel’s Ultra-200 processors with up to 24 cores and integrated NPU, the Nuvo-11000 marks a technological shift. Particularly noteworthy are its high I/O density, expandability via PCIe and MezIO modules, and optimization for high-speed data processing. In addition to a 20% increase in CPU performance compared to the previous generation, the processors enable dedicated AI workload processing through the integrated Neural Processing Unit (NPU), delivering up to 36 TOPS. This allows modern machine learning models to be deployed directly at the edge—for example, in visual inspection, predictive maintenance, or autonomous control.
With up to five 2.5 GbE ports, one 1 GbE port, and an optional 10 GbE connection, the series meets the requirements of bandwidth-intensive applications such as multi-camera systems, industrial image processing, or distributed control networks. Optional PoE+ support enables direct power supply to IP cameras or sensors—a clear cost advantage in system integration.
The fifth-generation M.2 socket supports NVMe SSDs with transfer rates of up to 11,000 MB/s—an essential factor for applications with high data throughput. Additional functions such as fieldbus modules, COM interfaces, digital I/Os, or FPGA-based extensions can be integrated via the modular expansion cassette, Mini-PCIe, and the proprietary MezIO interface. This facilitates customer-specific customization without compromising robustness.
Despite increased performance, energy consumption remains low. Ultra-200 processors require up to 20% less power at the same TDP compared to the previous generation. Combined with the proven passive cooling concept, the Nuvo-11000 operates in ambient temperatures from -25 to +70 °C, making it suitable for harsh environments or control cabinets without active climate control.
The Nuvo-11000 and its variants are advanced embedded IPCs for demanding industrial applications requiring both traditional control logic and modern AI inference directly at the machine. The combination of high I/O density, AI acceleration, and robust design makes the system a future-proof platform—especially with regard to the digitalization and automation of production environments.
